Helen with the Gold Teeth is equal parts creative expression, high-end jewelry and fashion designed by Helen Harris.
How do I submit an inquiry?
By clicking the “Submit Inquiry” button on the website or from the Linktree on Instagram. Use the new client questionnaire form to submit details about what you’re interested in purchasing, your location, contact information and an estimate on what you feel comfortable spending.
How do I contact you?
Email and telephone are recommended. For any type of inquiry use the email address email@example.com and our telephone number is 347-620-4329. If you are ready to shop with us, fill out the inquiry form and we will reply to you by phone. The inquiry form can be accessed here.
How do I get an appointment?
Generally appointments are booked by customers through the website. The initial consultation costs $100.00 for local clients and $200.00 for people located outside of NYC.
What happens during the consultation?
Within the hour Helen takes a dental impression of your teeth. You also have time to style the design for your grillz. For remote clients this usually happens within two separate web meetings.
How much does it cost?
The cost of our gold teeth is based on a number of factors. Primarily the number of teeth, grade of gold used, the types of stones used and their quantity. Some custom touches do not add extra cost while others do. Like other types of jewelry the labor costs associated with manufacturing, difficulty to make and uniqueness are factored into the cost of each order.
How do I pay for it?
Payments can be made with credit cards, debit cards, cash or crypto.
When do I pay?
All orders must be paid in full to begin manufacturing. No exceptions are made. Payment plans are not available in most cases; however delayed payment schedules can be coordinated using Afterpay or Shop Pay.
How long does it take?
The turnaround time depends on the type of piece being made and the volume of orders we have in our queue. The majority of our work is completed within a network of vendors. Turnaround times are impacted by a wide range of factors, so we shy away from setting any specific expectations. Please understand that we do not guarantee any particular turnaround time or discuss timelines.
Do you do remote orders?
Yes. For custom orders we can ship out a molding kit and assist taking the dental impression over FaceTime to ensure that you capture an accurate impression of your teeth. Alternatively out of town clients can mail in dental impressions taken by their dentists or local gold teeth makers.
Do you travel?
Yes. For some unique orders Helen can travel to clients who are not located in New York City. All travel expenses must be covered along with an additional fee that is determined by the complexity of the delivery.
What can I get?
The possibilities are endless! If you can imagine it, I can probably make it.
Where are they made?
Our grills are made in New York City's Diamond District, Florida, New Orleans and California.
How do I clean them?
Brush the inside of your gold teeth with a wet toothbrush. Plain slugs can be soaked overnight in clear mouthwash from time to time to sanitize. Make sure the mouthwash is clear because blue or purple mouthwash can alter the color of your gold teeth. For gemstone inlaid teeth it’s best to soak for 10 minutes in warm water and baking soda.
What if I need to reschedule?
Please give us 24 hours notice if you need to miss a scheduled appointment. We can get you rescheduled pending availability. No refunds for cancellations.
Can I get a quote before scheduling?
Yes. Fill out our client inquiry form providing contact information and details about what you’re interested in. We will reach out to you by phone to discuss further.
Do you make other types of jewelry?
Yes. Absolutely. We offer a full range of custom jewelry options. Contact us to inquire about making your dream pieces.
How long does it take for non-custom items?
Retail pieces are made to order. In most cases they will be shipped within two weeks of the order being placed.
Do you ship internationally?
The short answer is yes. Please be aware that shipping and handling rates, as well as delivery times, will vary depending on your location.
What is your return policy?
All sales are final.
